Coaching Staff

Head Coach 2005-2006 & 2010-
Coach Robinson first started competitively swimming and playing water polo in high school where he was the school’s first freshman varsity water polo starter, as goalie. He set the school single game save record with 25 saves, was captain, all-league player his senior year and was a varsity starter all 4 years. In swimming Coach Robinson made varsity all four years, set two school records in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay, Invitational Champion 100 Butterfly, League Champion 100 Backstroke, captain 2 years, received numerous accolades for swimming and academic performance from various school and service organizations. Coach Robinson went on to swim for the bulldogs at the University of Redlands, Redlands CA where he help lead the bulldogs to their first SCIAC Championship. Coach is appreciative of his in the water and out of the water success and contributes his success to his family, hard work and swimming.

Coach Robinson has been coaching swimming since 1995, is currently a club coach at Mesa Swim Club Seadogs and started the Knights Swim and Dive program in 2005. Since the establishment of the Knights Swim/Dive Team they have set over 200 school records, have had 50 Swimmers in the State Top 16. In his career, his swimmers have achieved over 1,000 personal best times, been League champions, and has an All-American Swimmer in the 100 Freestyle. Academically, the Knights have been the only Arizona team to be named to the Gold, Silver and Bronze National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Associations Scholar Team 4 years in a row. The girls team have received the AIA Scholar Team Award 2010-2014.

Coach Jaime McClure is an Arizona Native and was an age group competitive swimmer in the valley.  She was a multi-sport athlete who bounced between the pool, the volleyball court, and the softball field.  It was soon after high school that she realized her true passion was teaching and coaching swimming.  She has over 20 years of pool experience as an instructor, coach, and aquatics coordinator.  She is so excited to be a part of the Higley coaching staff this year!

Coach McClure graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, Northern Arizona University with a Masters in Educational Leadership, and is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.  She has been teaching in the Higley Unified School District for the last 6 years via Mesa Public Schools and is currently the Title 1 Coordinator and Math interventionist at San Tan Elementary.  Coach McClure lives in the Higley community and has a daughter who is junior in high school.

Ryan Kiley joins Higley Swim for the 2017 season, bringing years of experience in competitive swimming, including being a former member of the Men's Swim Team at the University of Arizona.

Spencer Lamoreaux joins the team in 2017.  He is a former competitive diver, having been a diver at Brigham Young University.
